Our unique event and wedding venue is located at Fort Diemerdam, part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dutch Water Defence Lines. Although Paviljoen Puur is surrounded by greenery, the venue is easily accessible from Amsterdam, Diemen and the surrounding area.

Sunday opening hours

On Sundays, Paviljoen Puur is open from 12:00 to 17:00 for lunch and drinks. We are closed on Sundays during November and December.

Please note that the venue may occasionally be exclusively reserved on a Sunday for a wedding, birthday celebration or other private event. This means that on some Sundays we are unable to welcome individual guests. We therefore recommend checking our current availability or making a reservation in advance.

Directions to Paviljoen Puur from the A1

On the A1 motorway, take exit 2 towards Diemen. Then follow the signs towards IJburg via Fortdiemerdamweg. Immediately after crossing the Uyllanderbrug, the wide white bridge, turn left. From there, follow the signs to Paviljoen Puur.

Directions to Paviljoen Puur from the A10

On the A10 ring road, take exit S114 towards Zeeburg. Then turn right onto IJburglaan and continue via IJburg in the direction of Maxis.

IJburglaan continues into Pampuslaan. From Pampuslaan, turn right onto Overdiemerweg. Then follow the signs to Paviljoen Puur and Fort Diemerdam.

Free parking at Paviljoen Puur

Free parking is available next to Paviljoen Puur for approximately 40 cars. When necessary and permitted, additional parking spaces may also be available on designated grass areas.

Will your group be arriving in a large number of cars? Please discuss this with our team in advance. Together, we can determine which parking facilities and, if necessary, traffic management arrangements are required.

Travelling to Paviljoen Puur by public transport

Paviljoen Puur can be reached by public transport from Amsterdam and Diemen. From Amsterdam, you can travel via Amsterdam Amstel station towards Diemerknoop and then continue towards the Peter Martensstraat stop. From this stop, it is approximately a fifteen-minute walk to Paviljoen Puur.

Cycling to Fort Diemerdam

Paviljoen Puur is also easily accessible by bicycle from Amsterdam, IJburg and Diemen. The route takes you through green surroundings, making cycling a lovely way to visit Fort Diemerdam.

Please keep in mind that Paviljoen Puur is located on a historic site. The final part of the route may therefore be slightly different from a typical city cycling route.
